Rolling Road Shoot out 2011.... 16 April!

It's approaching that time of year again where we get together to hear our engines sreaming away on a rolling road.

In previous years, we've 'predominantly' held this at Minisport but, due to time pressures and people's availability to run the event, we've decided to do something a little different.

We've been speaking with Cliff at Mini Addicts and they normally have a session around the same time which is attended by members from Mini Addicts and also well represented by the guys over at Crewe's Missiles.

So, what we're actually going to do is have a 3 way inter-club competition... There are a set 15 places for now, but the RR have said they could probably run up to 20 cars in the day. So that would be 5 places for each club with any spaces left over being first come, first served (and, by this I mean, the first people to pay the entrance fee up front, secure the places... ). For each club we would average out the results for their 5 cars and see who's the winner... Simples.

So the plan (now confirmed) is to attend A&B's rolling road in Hawarden:

Its that time of the year again where we start to pack our minis away (unless your HARDCORE) and start to look towards the next years fun. First on the agenda for next year is the British Mini Clubs "Mini Fair" held at Bingley Hall near Stafford.

For all of us here at Minifinity the party starts the night before with the now infamous "Curry Night", we hold this at a fantastic all you can eat chinese, they serve beer and spirits with the local Premier Inn only next door.

We need to know if you are coming By December 15th, please add your name here, this can get quite full and we have had over 60 people attend! So it is strictly first come first served.

Southern Mini Days 2010

The theme of this year's Southern Mini Days was 'the circus'. Well on the weekend of the 6th 7th and 8th of August the circus really did come to town at Bewl Water, as well as some of the Minifinity old guard, with myself (Croker), Zippy, Roxy, Jedi_stud, Bibble, 8ball, Marshall and mini247 all flying the MF the flag at this years Southern Mini Days.

With Bewel water so close to Dover we were pleased to see a good number of our foreign cousins join the party, noticably the Belgium and Dutch contingency (those boys and girls can really put on a club stand!)

This unique event - often referred to as THE show to go to, is crammed full of hands-on action with plenty of track time reserved to ‘run what ya brung’. Test your mettle on the famous ¼ mile strip as many times as you like for a nominal fee!

If you fancy your skills behind the wheel then get yourself along to the Autotest Arena. There will be plenty of professionals on hand to help you beat the clock on this challenging circuit.
