Minifinity at Christmas..

It's that time of the year again where we pack our minis away, and start to look towards Christmas and New Year.. For some, Christmas is an IDEAL opportunity to continue working on the project, or just carry out routine maintenance on the daily runner.. For the team here at 'Finity, we're also looking at the next years program.

First on the agenda for next year is the British Mini Clubs "Mini Fair" held at Bingley Hall near Stafford.

Rolling Road Shoot out 2011.... 16 April!

It's approaching that time of year again where we get together to hear our engines sreaming away on a rolling road.

In previous years, we've 'predominantly' held this at Minisport but, due to time pressures and people's availability to run the event, we've decided to do something a little different.

We've been speaking with Cliff at Mini Addicts and they normally have a session around the same time which is attended by members from Mini Addicts and also well represented by the guys over at Crewe's Missiles.

So, what we're actually going to do is have a 3 way inter-club competition... There are a set 15 places for now, but the RR have said they could probably run up to 20 cars in the day. So that would be 5 places for each club with any spaces left over being first come, first served (and, by this I mean, the first people to pay the entrance fee up front, secure the places... ). For each club we would average out the results for their 5 cars and see who's the winner... Simples.

So the plan (now confirmed) is to attend A&B's rolling road in Hawarden:

Minifinty in 2011

Another year has passed for Minifinity's history books - 2010 was a good year for Minifinity - Every major event was attented, weather it be the small numbers at Gaydon or a mass Clubstand at Stanford Hall, each one will be remembered for one reason or another. For me, the most memorable clubstand moment has to be Mini-Geek, CharlieT3 and myself (With Brumski "observing" ;) ) changing the clutch on MiniMum's mini! (That and Noll actually turning up to the Birthday Bash without getting lost!). And let us not forget RingOneZero!
