As you all may, or may not know, Minifinity once had an operational club car, a Pageant Blue Mini Clubman Estate called 'Luigi'.
However, due to a minor bump and a subsequent immersion due to a flood, he's been off the road for some time.

Luigi before the stripdown
After the flood, the H of E area members agreed to take on the mantle of getting him roadworthy again. They put in a lot of time and effort to strip down the car ready for repairs (no mean feat for the team as the car was pretty much caked in mud and sewage after the flood), but due to a lack of club funds with which to purchase replacement panels etc it has not been possible to progress.
So firstly, many thanks to all the H or E team who spent many hours stripping the car down and cleaning out the results of the flood.
And secondly, with little or no club funds available to complete the work, the decision has been taken to sell Luigi as an ongoing project.
So here's the plan...
Much discussion has taken place regarding how to sell (i.e. eBay etc), but we would prefer Luigi to go to a forum member. This way we might all get to see him restored to his former glory.
So, are you interested in purchasing Luigi as a project with the funds raised going towards the upkeep of Minifinity? We are inviting interested members to send in their best offer for Luigi and all the parts removed, with the best offer securing the purchase.

Finally, the winning bidder will need to arrange removal of Luigi at a convenient time (within 2/3 weeks). He is currently located about 5 miles from the M6/M1 Junction near to Stanford Hall.
He is currently a rolling shell so you would need a trailor to remove him.

- Walnut Wood effect steering wheel, windows winders and door openers.
- Front grille present - just requires some minor straightening.
- Front subframe in good condition.
- Rear subframe seems OK - surface corrosion but nothing major visible.
