The Minifinity Ultimate Buyers Guide is back !
This is an essential guide for anyone in the process of buying a mini
The Minifinity Ultimate Buyers Guide includes hints on what to look out for when buying a mini...... from mechanical to interior and bodywork issues. The guide even includes a checklist for you to take with you when inspecting a car !
We hope this will help anyone who is looking to buy a mini, but is a little bit unsure as to what to look for.

The guide should help you avoid seeing costly horrors such as the example to the left !
We shall be updating the guide over the next few weeks, so please let us know if there are things that, in your experience, should be added.
If you have any experiences and pictures of 'bodge jobs' you have discovered on your mini please share them with us by posting them on the forum here.
The guide is a valuable resource for the non mini experts, so with everybody's help we can try to make it even better !
Many thanks to Mr Ed and Webmonkey for the guide and to Mr Ed for recovering the guide !

The technical articles are being reworked and you will find more of them being introduced to the Technical Guides section over the next few weeks. We will also be introducing a new resources download section so that essential material can be easily stored and printed for that fix-it weekend! One of the most common questions relates to Carburettor setup and a common misunderstanding of how a SU works. So if you have a minute or two to spare, why not have a read of Gilesy's article on the basics of how a carb works!

Well it has finally arrived ! It has taken us a little while to compile, but Minifinitys 2008 Calender is now ready for downloading and its FREE (its actually Feb 2008 to Jan 2009 !)
Again there were many nice photos submitted and it would have been a shame to leave some out so there is a choice of two pages for each month !!
Thanks to Tim who had done us proud in his first Minifinity design project !

As the summer comes to a close some of us are beginning to put the minis into hibernation, but now we are faced with a bigger project...LUIGI. Hes been in the Heart of England (aka HoE) region for a few weeks and, much to our surprise, he isn’t as bad as first thought.
Sadly, whilst living with Hammy and Fluff, Luigi was hit by the recent floods that have terrorised much of the UK. Some thought he was a goner, others thought he was just wet… and Anglian Water thought he could be put to good use as a water purifier. Then the decision was made that we as Minifinity needed to decide what should happen to the club car. Put to the vote it was decided that Luigi will be saved and moved to a new home.
With so many people offering Luigi a home all over the country, the HoE region was chosen with Minimum offering a place to stay. We can now say he has arrived in style and to honour our commitment to him and Minifinty well be making regular posts and updates of Luigis progress.
So to begin with well start with his arrival and attendance to Stanford Hall.
Having endured the long haul drive from Newbury, Luigi at first decided to make a stand, with the effects of the flood leading to what looked like "anal seepage". **Dragging the remains of his gear linkage across the floor seemed a desperate plea to slow the efforts by made by Clem to get Luigi onto the back of the trailer.** Of course Fluff and Minimum had other things to sort out; I for one have to admit I like the sight of women working.

As the weekend has now drawn to a close and the sunburn has now stepped in full force, we say farewell to another fantastic Southern Mini Days!
This for me was the first SMD Ive been to and no words can describe how fantastic this weekend truly was!
Camping with the Minifinity lot was nothing short of amazing, We just seemed to keep on spreading as car after car of MF-ers turned up and we not only filled one complete camping aisle but had to spread in both directions as well! Im not alone when I say this; "Its great to finally be able to put names to faces!" It seemed to have been the pure essence of what Minifinity was about, getting drunk in a field. Whod have thought something so simple would have achieved so much! With a larger turnout then ever before it was impossible to miss the fact that Minifinity has well and truly arrived!

This weekend saw the highlight of Minifinity history!!
Fluff and Hammy got hitched!!
In true style they wanted a quiet do and found the ideal place to hold such a do in South Wales. It was spread over 4 days which meant that the distance in which most had to travel was bearable.
With the help of family and friends the manor house was transformed and the wedding of the century took place.
Most guests arrived on Friday to be greeted by Hammy with a very cheesy grin on his face and Fluff doing a few last minute panics but after relaxing on the terrace & winding down after a glass or three the evening passed & beauty sleep was in order ready for the “big day!! (beauty sleep needed for Hammy not Fluff!!)
Saturday morning then appeared I’m sure far quicker than they had hoped and the preparations for the day began. With family members setting up the tables ready for the feast and friends gathering chairs to set up underneath the oak tree the time soon ran out and it was time to get our glad rags on!!
