Saw this at my local beach, sat in 1/2 a boat. Can't see the label on this image, was made by a firm in Gorton, Manchester.

Could even be a diesel! Which would make more sense for a marine engine. Save for the spark plugs... Hum

There were plenty of cars that used the A-series in a longitudinal RWD configuration. But that gearbox doesn't look like any of the ones I know.
