Exhaust

Postby NobbyStiles » Mon 3rd Jul 2017, 02:12pm

This maybe a daft question to some but I need to ask it anyway so apologies in advance.
I am shortly going to be getting a Stage 1 Tuning Kit fitted to the old girl.
The only thing I am unsure of is whether to keep the exhaust to the left or go for the centre branch.

Is there any benefit in having either or is it purely down to aesthetics?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
I thought as much but just wasn't sure.
I was hoping for a difference because I cannot decide which one to chose....... :?

Thanks again

I've read, I don't have personal experience, that with a centre exhaust you can end up with fumes in the cabin. May only be relevent if you have opening rear windows. (I would suggest if true, then it would be related to turbulent flow and a low pressure being formed a the back of the car sucking those fumes in).

Thanks :)

It seems there are no specific benefits either way so as I'm intending to keep her pretty original I think I'll opt for the left hand side exit.

I am new here.
I thought of RC40 standard exhaust.
So far, original setup.
