Hi,
Just wanted to say hello and show off my new site for my Mini 30 Automatic which I'm looking forward to getting out of the garage in the Summer. There's not many around anymore so thought I'd put something up, the interior might not be be to all tastes but I love it!

Well its not my mini now, that can be seen in the members journal area, but this was my first and in a lot of ways the inspiration for my current obsession...

This is my latest Mini, and daily runner.

This is my second Mini, which unfortunately I never got to drove as it had 27 MOT fails and we don't have the money to fix it!

This is my first Mini, and first Mini project. A 1980 Clubman Estate. It's fair to say the Mini enthusiast down our road has his eyes on this and wanted to swap it for a Mini Van

My mini, pretty standard Racing Green edition, with a stage 1 kit. Going in to have coil springs fitted in the morning as my dentition wont take much more of the current suspension!

Re: Show us your mini........(s)
I've just glanced through dozens and dozens of your Mini photos in this thread and find that 80% to 90% of the Minis here have some sort of wheel arches or flares. Is this arches - no arches issue primarily because a Mini simply "looks" better with arches? Is it a cost issue, a practical issue, a handling issue, or what? There must be a reason so many more Minis have arches than don't.
I'm picking up a really nice totally stock 78' Mini 1000 next month (drum brakes all around) that currently has 145/80/10 tires on some pretty ugly stock steel wheels. The car will not be raced and 99.9% of the time it will be used to buzz around town or attend a local car show. I'm still trying to decide whether to go with new 10-inch (Minilite) wheels with 165/70/10 tires and no arches/flares, or bump up to new 12-inch (Minilite) wheels and 165/60/12 tires which would most likely require some sort of arches/flares.
What's you opinion?

Re: Show us your mini........(s)
We had a to get a 4x4 because of where we have moved to so got a Skoda Octavia Scout and needed to sell our existing Skoda Fabia Estate, ended up doing a swap with a nice chap from Wales, Fabia for this,

Well pleased, going to do a few shows this year then sell on and concentrate on my original mini project lurking in the garage.
