Howsit. my problem is that i have my entire system: 3000W calibra stealth 4ch, 1600 audiobank 2ch mono block 800W (RMS), 1400W DVC 12" pioneer champion series Sub, pioneer 6x9's 320W and mids 120W, LG LC8900 headunit , and an Audiobank 6ch equilizer. but the the one thing i cant figure out for the life of me is where i shoul place my 6x9's... i keep reading onder the back seats on a custom board or in the back window sill or under the front seats? weighing al the pros and cons of these methods they mostly come out even... so where would the best place be to put them cause ive been waiting a year to put my system in and now i have no idea how i want it... PLEASE HELP!!!

Under the back seats is only something I'd ever consider for an estate, it just sounds 'low'. Personally a round speaker is always better, but I'm guessing you already have them so in the shelf probably is the best location. Although the purist will probably tell you to put them in the bin and fit some big components up front in speaker pods.

ja i do have them already so no use in buying more again... and if i do put them in the back sill , then how do i mount them ? cause some people tell me just to cut the hole and mount them flat.or should i try build a little box for it and then mount it? oh and also would it make a difference if i have them tilted forward as opposed to straight up?

The mini boot is really good for 6x9's, what you'll probably want to do is fit a wooden shelf on top of the metal one and mount the speakers into that. You may also need to modify the metal shelf to fit the magnets though. You'll also want some kinda vibration supression between the wooden shelf and the metal one. And some flashing tape can also help deaden the panel. Sounds pretty good IMHO

Howdo
dude do yourself a favour and stick the 6x9's in the bin (or on ebay if you like), get some 6.5" components and mount them in some pods up front, that will be the only way to get the best from your system

thanks guys. well got the 6x9,s sorted now , and im even mounting my 10cm mids in pvc pipe enclosure haha! now my other problem is that im worried that my huge sub is going to create that blowing noise out the back sill port holes when it plays . so wondering if i should port the holes or just leave them for the best. and oh ja ... fun fact my sub box is too large to fit in my boot! i have to take apart and reassemble it inside the boot!

i'd just try it, if it does what you're saying then whack a couple of ports in the shelf, tbh you probably won't be able to hear it over the rattles anyway
